and the EPA, USDA, AMA, ASPCA, CIA, OSHA and all the other agencies that we love to complain about......but truly are what makes AMERICA great.
If you don't agree with me then go to a foreign country for 17 days. You'll come back a changed person....
We went to our local parade this morning. When I saw the flags marching in the front of the line I almost broke into some Lee Greenwood....a tear came to my eye and I can say with gusto......I am so Proud to be an American!!!
Ty was a little unsure at first about all the people and probably the fact we were sitting on the edge of the road. But once the candy started flying he was a changed man.

That's Zane on the far left bringing up the rear of the parade. His boy scout troop was responsible for picking up trash at the end of the parade.

Seeing you guys at the parade makes me a little homesick. I always love that parade, and all the events that go along with the 4th of July in Kingwood. Love the picture of all the kids. Looking forward to finally meeting Ty in person.
Didn't mean to sound so down on Las Vegas. It is a cool place to visit,and I'm sure there are lots of things for kids to do, infact, we saw some of the roller coasters and the kids were begging to ride. We tried to get tickets to the Blue Man Group but you had to be atleast 5 years old to go. Looks like a really good show, though. I think we just didn't have enough time to spend there to really see all there is to do. Next time, though........
