We spent a relaxing day at a local park and Zoo.  It was nice to stroll through the gardens and see all the activites that the people are participating in early in the morning.

But after a few minutes we seemed to be the attraction more than the activities.  Nevertheless, we had a nice morning.

For lunch we went to try the Famous Beef Noodles of Lanzhou.  Any time we googled famous things to do and see here the Beef Noodles were at the top of the list.  We quickly agreed.  They reminded us of Kung Fu Panda's Dad, he owned a noodle shop in the movie.

Kaylee was hoping that we could get a picture of Johanna in her zebra outfit with a real Zebra.  But by the time we got to the Zebra, Johanna was  snoozing.
Then the rest of the afternoon, we spent time getting to know our baby girl better.  She is doing so well.  WE know so many of you have prayed for her and we can see the evidence of those prayers.  She is very happy.  She can get up on all fours and semi-crawl and she can pull up and take a few steps if she's holding your fingers.  She had one tooth erupted on the bottom and one more about to break through.  She can blow some serious bubbles and gets pretty vocal at times.  We are enjoying her so much!

Love the pictures! She looks great - sounds like she is doing really well!! The beef noodle soup was one of my favorites, too...makes me kind of hungry (although I can live without seeing any more lotus root for a long time). Thanks for all the updates!

Looks like you guys are having a great time and seeing some fun stuff! Those noodles looked good! Sounds much better than yesterdays menu item - the beef and jalapeño dish!

Sounds like round three is going smoothly. So happy for y'all! Keep the posts coming! Love reading them and seeing the pics of the family. The Walling attraction pic cracked me up. Reminds me of the time we were in McDonalds in China and the teenager saw all the Americans and she couldn't believe how big and tall all the men were! Her eyes got real big when she looked up at Dave. (: I bet they love the blonde hair on your kids, huh?
I may have missed it in an earlier post (or maybe you already told me???) but how old is Johanna? She is absolutely beautiful.
